The horror of not wanting him to pay more than he’s already paying is just to much

Read the book Across The River. Does a great job of explaining their coaching.

How many players did Central have on the field by the time the player scored...20? That would have been brutal to see "too many men on the field" called on all the Central players that entered the field prematurely to celebrate.

I was one of them refs weren’t going to be able to get that game restarted after that mayhem. Coldest I’ve ever been in my life except for that play and the 10 minutes after of going crazy

Actually did end up losing to St Paul’s the next season for that exact reason after a go ahead throwback to our QB that went for a score in the regular season. We had a lot of those kind of games

Looked like they did that on an empty field and 30 Neville pussy dads jumped on the field to act like they wanted to fight high school kids? Of course, WM guy gets "that's right, stay out of Monroe, bitches!" out of it.

They’ve done it all year. It’s a genuine question, because there isn’t downtime in the Dome. There won’t be an empty field moment next week.

If y'all haven't seen the video. Union parish has a clear cut case to sue the Lhasa. They were clearly getting jobbed worse than the saints. It's not even close.
Holy shite

Can’t wait for the resident Louisiana ref to come be absolutely insane and defend the refs here

I wonder how many other schools will look to go ISD with Zachary and now Central’s success.
schools can't do it on their own - parish usually holds the strings.

Now you do realize any official cannot throw another official under the bus. One of my guys got suspended for 2 years for doing that.

Did someone have the ball with their knee on the ground?

But at times you need to just fry your own a little bit

I take his silence as deafening on certain instances. I understand he can’t call them out.

A school threatened this in 2015 and it went nowhere. No such thing as officials being sued over a call or no call. But they do get sued when catastrophic injuries occur(of course so do both schools, coaches, admin and the venue owner).

And They also get sued when a coach is in the restricted area ( where he's not supposed to be and gets trucked by an official who is following the play where he is supposed to be).

Curtis does not lose well. It’s hard to adjust 40yrs of constantly winning to what they’ve become now. Just another solid LA HS football program.

Not a ref, but you can’t tell anything definitive from that camera angle.

He looks like he would have been down, but you’d be lying if you said you were 100% certain either way from that one video.

ETA: I thought the controversy was regarding the fumble, not the recoverer being down when gaining possession.

He was 100% certainly down when he recovered the fumble

Then 10 seconds later another random big man is rumbling down the field

I’ve watched a good bit of football. I have never seen a systemic issue in any team, this was absolutely stupid. And it wasn’t a losing to ASH issue, film showed it thru the season
And I have been pleasantly surprised by the sportsmanship I’ve seen all over, really good competitors. I don’t mind emotion or one off outbursts, kids get their motors running and I expect isolated crap out of every team. They had five or six guys going out of their way to show great sportsmanship, obviously overcompensating for their teammates and coaches, so kudos to those parents. It didn’t come from those circus ready dressed coaches.

I can’t see crap about a fumble or not but sure seems it was controlled by a kneeling player. But from my phone you can’t see very much
