I think Haas sent him out in Q3 w/ only used tires. Dave a new set of reds for the race and hope they can get some points I guess.

Starting out where he left off... Reason I don't think he makes it in that seat the entire season.
After summer break, Danny Ric will be in it for the interim until they sign a true number 2. Hopefully Alonso.

Max will probably win by 10-15 seconds, last season RB made it a point to sacrafice quali pace for race pace, Chuck loves to get on pole then shite the bed for the race. Hell Verstappen got pole 12 times, and I don't remember most of them being particularly dominant like the mercs 7-8 years ago

It's a good sign so far, but race pace will tell the story, and I think we all still expect Max to drive away to a big gap by the end of the race. I'm curious if Perez can work his way to P2. He needs to podium every race to keep his job.
