If tweet fails to load, click here. The FIA had an operating income of €155 million in 2023.

That's just laughable in every conceivable way.

The teams are the ones who are complaining, they can pay for them.
Posted on 12/12/24 at 7:21 pm to TouchedTheAxeIn82
That’s probably the right idea, as long as it doesn’t come out of the budget cap and all teams contribute. Don’t need Salayem calling the shots mid race.

The teams already provide that $155M budget with their entry fee right?
Posted on 12/13/24 at 8:29 am to s14suspense
The entry fees account for some of this money but not all.
In 2025 all 10 teams must pay a base fee of $680,203, but as the best-placed team, McLaren has to pay an additional $8161 per point scored in 2024.
The remainder of the grid pays an additional $6799 per point.
The maths plays out to land McLaren with its $6.1 million bill for 2025 which totals more than its last three entry fees.
The FIA has raised the entry fee in F1, collecting £20.3 million ($25.7 million) from constructors in the new year.

No word on Checo this week, does that mean he will be back next season? I thought they were supposed to make a decision early this week

Checo out. Lawson in.
I have my doubts that Lawson can do much better, but maybe I'll be surprised

Marko and Horner coming together to murder another driver career.
Homestly think that is how Marko continues living.

Whose? Checo?
Think he did that to himself

Probably Lawson’s will end up dead

Marko survives on the adrenal glands of young drivers.

Happy checo out day to all who celebrate

Ok so here is what I've heard over the last few weeks, ??Perez performance clause was activated removing him from the seat. I heard there was a mid season clause that he didn't meet at the summer break, but they continued with him to year end to give them more time to evaluate Lawson until the year end. ??Decision was apparently made known to Checo sometime over the AD weekend. ??Legitimately there was no decision on who would take the seat until after Yuki's test. Yuki's test went well. ??Hadjar will replace Lawson at RB I've heard some rumblings, but nothing concrete on this next bit. These are my thoughts on why Yuki didn't get the seat, ??Honda is moving to supply AMR in 2026. The future of Yuki is a bit up in the air and the risk is he could leave with Honda to AMR. ??Lawson is preferred by Lord Helmet. They believe in his skill sets and think he is the best compliment to Max

bullshite they aren’t giving Yuki a chance.

Red Bull management since the big guy died has been terrible.
I'm not sure if it's disdain towards Honda or Yuki that has left Yuki inexplicably left out. Marko has been preparing us all along by talking about Yuki's faults, but it's all bullshite. All drivers have faults and make mistakes. Yuki put them in an awkward position by out-scoring Danny 22-12 pts and then out-qualifying Liam 6-0 and out-scoring Liam 8-4 pts. But Yuki never had a chance.

All this RB frickery makes you wonder whether they'd have any of their hardwar over the last 4 seasons if Max wasn't the wheelman?

Yeah I miss mateschitz. I think a lot of things are going on… if Honda was still Red Bulls engine supplier for the next regulation set, he would have the seat imo.
I’ve always thought Helmut was higher on Yuki, it’s Christian who doesn’t like him.

Before this season I would have said Lawson would get the seat but Yuki definitely looked better this year. But he does kind of seem like an a-hole and not someone you'd want to deal with or someone Max would want to deal with. Might be reading that wrong but that's the vibe I get from him. Can't imagine how big of a baby he'd turn into in the car if he was in competition.

I don’t want to be that guy…. But it really does seem biased.
Yuki has always been in Red Bull’s doghouse.
There’s nothing I’ve seen that suggests Lawson is a better driver than Yuki.
