O I'm not trying to hate on Williams, I'm a Williams fan. I argued all year last year that Albon was arguably the best driver on the track. Or he was at least getting the most out of what he was given. I didn't realize they were minimally developing this car and prepping for 2026, that's good to hear.

Really hoping Ferrari bombs next year.

I want to see Ham bomb next year while Chuck wins the chip.

My deepest, darkest secret I'm willing to talk about is that I want Checo to go HAM next season, win double digit races, and clinch the WDC by the USGP just for the chaos it would bring in the fan community.

Perez won't even have a ride next year so good luck with that.

However, Lawson and Colapinto deserve at least a real chance, as much less deserving drivers have had. Lawson could even have it, Colapinto is seriously at risk and yet he is putting Albon in line, whose girlfriend looks at him in dismay when he caresses the photo of Sargeant before going to bed.
Damn..... lolzzzzz

I'm with Prost on this.
Saw somewhere that Max has gained 5 points on Emoboy since Miami.
McLaren has had the overall best car since Miami.
I'm pulling for Chuck to overhaul Norris. Which is far more likely than Max losing the championship.

Useless seems harsh. I think he doesn't really know how to compete for a championship yet. Like the moment is maybe too big for him. But I can see him settling in to the championship pressure better next year. Though by next year if McLaren is serious when they say they don't have a #1, then I can also see Oscar being the better driver. That dude is the truth, he seems to have the killer instinct like Max.

If/when Piastri solves his qualifying issues he'll dominate Norris.

I think this twitter account is just a troll.
So in recent F1 WDC history, you have:
1. Ruthless psychopaths: Max, Seb, Kimi, Fernando, Michael, Jacques, Nigel, Senna.
2. Less psychopathic I guess: Lewis
3. Decent guys who were also real champions: Nico, Mika, Prost (despite pulling a ruthless move on Senna)
4. Nice guys who got lucky with dominant cars: Jenson, Damon
I think the only way Lando will be champion is to slot in to the #4 category. If he has to fight tooth-and-nail the way Nico Rosberg desperately fought Lewis, he's not going to do it. While I never thought Nico was as good as Lewis, he was extremely motivated and earned his championship.

I don’t know that I’d have included Seb in the psychopath group. Besides multi-21 and that moment in Baku with Lewis he wasn’t crazy, just fast in a good car right?

I agree, he's not ruthless enough.

Not sure if there is any truth to this. I’m not against it tho, the young man has impressed over 4 races.

Would not be mad at that.

Me too. I think one of the biggest stories to bme this season is that LeClerc has vastly improved his racecraft and race management and Ferrai has solved the tire deg issues from the past few years. Vasseur deserves accololades.

Small disagreement...Nico Rosberg was a complete psychopath while a team mate of Lewis. Same for Prost his entire career. Total a-holes. Mika was a good guy, though.
Max and Schumacher would tell you that they were going to run you off the track, do it, then explain why it was your fault. Rosberg and Prost would tell you how nice they were then run you off of the track and act like it was your fault.
