If norris gave piastri the lead back earlier with the 3 second gap, would Zak have allowed them to race each other to the end?

Great job by Piastri.
Not sure many drivers would have been so cool over radio during the final 10 laps.
Still gunning for 3rd in the championship.
Loving Max in the midfield doing Max in the mid field things.
I'm not sure I could be on the radio an entire race without saying just shut the frick up Max.
As a viewer I'm loving it.

McLaren decision making just tainted this all. They should have just pitted Oscar first, and then if Lando catches him he catches him. Now everyone looks bad

Can’t fault you with their history but they did go 1 - 2. Lando followed orders they thought protecting from Ham was the play. Can’t fault them too much, always gonna be f1 drama with teams and drivers that can compete with each other.

Both McLaren drivers have won a race this season.
Both Mercedes drivers have won.
Both Ferrari drivers have won.
Only one Red Bull driver. Checo did have a decent race today tho. P17-P7.

The factory built them the fastest car and the drivers did what they needed to do.
The wall has fricked this team the last few weeks and continue to do so. Ferrari is wondering what the frick McLaren is doing.

Lando had the chance there to take the reins of the team, he should’ve told them,” I’m not risking a 1-2 Finish by giving up 5 seconds to third place for free, please stop distracting me w/ unneeded radio messages. Copy”
Or the team should’ve just let Lando win, and had only one upset driver, and taken accountability for poor strategy from race engineers. Now everyone is mad at everyone, both drivers are probably pissed at Engineering, and Oscar’s first W is hollow, like a make a wish win.
No one gets paid for their second place finishes or being a good “team” guy in F1, nor remembered. Wins aren’t guaranteed, and Lando has had his fare share of heartbreaking second place finishes. Take the win, let the fallout happen, and in a few weeks it’s all blown over and you have another win on your resume. This pat on the back for saving engineering’s arse today, will never be returned to the same extent.
