I just dont get why McLaren would even consider swapping positions. Norris is way ahead in the standings and could actually challenge for the title if they keep performing. Mercedes or Red Bull would just tell the "second" driver to suck it up.

Great midfield battle! Yuki won best of the rest in P9. I didn't think he could hold off the two Aston Martins. Stroll was coming hard at the end, and Yuki was stressed out. He did 41 laps on the hards, one-pit strategy. I just checked, Yuki was the only one who did just one pit stop. Danny Ric responded to the early pit stop of Albon and KMag, and it turned out to be the wrong strategy.

Well they swapped because lando was going to get caught by Hamilton and they were protecting the 1-2.
Piastri should have been pitted first and then lando wouldn't have caught him.
