NASCAR took the louvers from the four Hendrick cars for further evaluation. They were allowed to replace the louvers. Any penalties would be announced next week.

Diagram from rulebook on piece taken from Hendrick cars. Frame with ridged plates — one complete piece that directs air flow thru hood vents. Any modifications could impact downforce. Teams have had issues with them fitting but been told to work with manufacturer & not to modify.
A better look at the louvers. It looks like three separate pieces but it is one piece with a frame. All Hendrick cars had them confiscated after practice Fri. Replaced with new ones. NASCAR will take them back to R&D (I assume to scan) and then decide Tue or Wed if any penalties

if the same thing happened for ALL say penske cars, penalties would be applied ON THE SPOT......

Watching Harvick slowly make his way up the order has been the most compelling thing in the race thus far.
