Races like this, even tracks like this are why NASCAR is a shadow of it's former self. The 1.5mi ovals absolutely suck. So for the better part of half the season (since so many tracks are 1.5 ovals) the product on the track is mind numbingly boring.
Then, throw in the bullshite phantom cautions and it's even worse.
NASCAR is their own worst enemy and they're too arrogant to see it.

What beef could anyone possibly have with William Byron?
Hendrick (but I grudgingly like Bowman and Larson)
His Mr Tough guy act when he gets moved but not immune to doing the same thing. Like I said. Pissant.

Back in the heyday their smaller tracks were all sold out and TV ratings were up. Then nascar got greedy and figured they’d add a bunch of 1.5 milers because they could sell more tickets per race. And if course they oversaturated their market and then slowly ruined the on track fun - plus came out with the clone car which lost the huge Chevy/Ford battles. And then sold out to big TV which meant more commercials. And then Dale SR died and it started to fall apart.
In the past few years they are trying to slowly go back to what worked. Adding more road races. Going back to smaller venues. Made lap cars start at rear (before they lined up on inside row). Ironically the stages aren’t a bad idea but were done because of so many cookie cutter 1.5 tracks made boring racing.
But with fake cautions and woke agenda it might be too late. Fans could care less what color a driver is if he can race. Its when nascar and tv partners ram it down throats fans get turned off. Bubba was not pushed some years ago and was fine. Now he is in every TV promo like he has won something. And they have reporters to report just on him. And combined with LA woke race to start year it all is just a WWE staged event these days.
2 of 3 races had winner outcomes changed due to quick trigger cautions. Meanwhile during the races same type events did not see yellow. Rowdy should have 2 wins and Kyle 1 win.

NASCAR legends Richard Petty, Jeff Gordon, Bill Elliott to appear on Atlanta’s fan stage on March 19
Before racers hit the track to write the next 400 mile chapter in NASCAR’s history, fans at Atlanta Motor Speedway will have a chance to celebrate unforgettable moments in the sport’s history.
Legendary drivers and iconic cars will meet at AMS during the Ambetter Health 400 race weekend March 17-19 to commemorate NASCAR’s 75th anniversary.
Undoubtedly the highlight will be a gathering of some of NASCAR’s all-time greats: Richard Petty, Jeff Gordon, and Bill Elliott will all be on the AMS Fan Stage together to share their memories and stories from the 1992 season finale in Atlanta. Considered one of the greatest NASCAR races of all time, the 1992 finale was Petty’s last race as a competitor, Gordon’s first in NASCAR’s top series, and was won by Elliott amidst an incredibly narrow title fight with the late Alan Kulwicki, who claimed the 1992 title over Elliott by just 10 points.

No fans of any other sport bitch more than NASCAR fans. Some of you sound worse than a woman on the rag.

NASCAR edged out Warriors/Lakers 3.99M vs 3.95M for the weekend's top honors.
Adam Stern:
@FoxTV got 3.991 million viewers for Sunday's NASCAR race, down from 4.544 million last year
Chase being out lost lots of viewers. And nascar going too woke running off more loyal fans. Thats a massive drop in viewers. Yuge Where are those new “Cali” fans they chased in the Clash?

Jenson Button to run three Cup races
Button will make his Cup Series debut March 26 at Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas. He will then compete in the inaugural Chicago Street Race on July 2 before culminating his three-race Cup Series slate Aug. 13 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course.
Rick Ware Racing (RWR) will field the No. 15 Mobil 1 Ford Mustang that Button will drive in each Cup Series race. Marketing and promotional support is being facilitated by Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR), Mobil 1’s longtime NASCAR team partner. RWR and SHR collaborated in similar fashion last year for multiple races with a handful of drivers.
