Gee y'all, it's almost like the people and demographic that put NASCAR on the map are the ones STILL putting NASCAR on the map.

No qualifying either series plus no practice. Only thing now is waiting to see if can get Xfinity race in which is at 4pm central. They do have lights and being 2pm their time they have quite some time to race but if forecast is bad they might call it early and race after Winston cup race

Xfinity race has been postponed until after the Cup Series race tomorrow. It will air on FS2 at 8 pm ET.

That would be like 2x their yearly average....

Davey Allison would have been 62 today.
Truly a case of what could of been. Earnhardt wouldn't have 7 titles had he lived, I'm confident on saying that.
RIP.

Davey is one of the heartbreaking stories in sports history. He, and RYR was just starting to blossom. His driving talent , coupled with Robert Yates horsepower would have definitely helped reshape the record books.
RIP Davey

Losing Davey and Alan Kulwicki within the space of what, four months, changed history IMO.

Right. That was the point. A bit of a joke because if NASCAR is in town…..

I’d pick Bowman … got a hunch Armirola might have a good day.

My banker is a good friend of the Allison family. Me and him went to lunch one day back in the early 2000’s and were talking NASCAR. He said it would have been something to watch Jeff Gordon and Davey battle it out on the track. I agree. That Havoline 28 sure looked good.

Is “weepers” the drinking word of the day? If so, I am going to need more beer……

Thinking 48 today, Bowman likes these tracks.
