Maybe so. Childers said the silicone came off. The DQ cannot be appealed per SXM radio .

Iowa is hosting a cup race next year. Guess Montreal fell through. Wish they’d go to Mosport instead.

2024 Schedule is out. Darlington is replaced with Atlanta as the opening race of the playoffs. Watkins Glen is added in the round of 16.

Still think Darlington would have been the better option. However,I get NASCAR wants to change things up.

If you’re not gonna have Daytona be the cutoff race then move it back to the Fourth of July.

It works out that way but only because of the break.
Darlington kept its Labor Day slot.
I suspect this is a one year deal.
Moving the ATL spring race to end of Feb is a huge risk. Maybe the first ice race.

Iowa replaced 2nd Texas race?

Makes no sense. Homestead would be a perfect choice for the 2nd race.

Honestly Texas doesn’t deserve a 2nd race. They lost Indy car for next year also. The track needs to rebuilt and not like the crap they did with Atlanta.

There aren't many tracks that deserve two dates. Back to back drafting tracks? No thanks

Ya I was just asking if that was what the situation was.
No other changes other than Iowa replacing a Tx race.

Good to see someone so happy about winning. You could tell it meant a lot to him.

They ruined it again with this shitbox car and pandering to Bubba. No amount of nastycar shenanigans could help him today. But of course TV has to always focus on the backmarker and after race only interviewed the winner and another but then “squeezed” in Bubba right before they cut away coverage. Thank goodness he’s out of playoffs but now who will they cover?

Another car caught fire. Several toe links broken again. Sketchy cautions again. Just a normal shite show. They have ruined the sport and the pandering has gone over the top chasing off core viewers and fans. Parade of cars.

You also have a driver of one team owns a part of another team and openly admit he would help his owned team before his own team. There is no integrity in the sport and the TV crews talks like no one has ever watched a race before.

Thats why less and less posts its a dying sport and nastycar is trying to finish it off.

Carson Hocevar has signed a multi-year Cup deal with Spire Motorsports. He will drive the 77 car.
