Go. I've been to a good number of Nascar tracks in my life. Darlington was one of the best track experiences I ever had. Only Bristol was better.

And the town is built around the racetrack, a lot like southern/Midwestern college towns are built around their respective campuses.

I love that track.

John Hunter Nemechek to the Legacy 42 next year. I bet this is short term. He ends up at Gibbs once there’s an opening.

That's a good hire and Gibbs would be smart to hire him once he's available.

Bowman was blocking like crazy there.

I just finished watching the race; the Bowman block on Suarez was so bush league - very odd at this level. Never saw Bowman as that type of driver.

And Suarez had a decent car hanging around the top ten all day.

Why is Kansas in the chase? This is yet another race where the leader gets ahead and can’t be caught or passed

Keslowski's comments shows how far behind Ford still is.

Good gracious. Compare how long it took nascar to throw the caution when the 17 hit the wall today vs last week when Newman spun last week at Darlington. Had the waited 1/2 as long as they did today, the 4 makes it to pit lane.

Chase banging into Larson exiting pit row. Dang. Respect for that whether he was right or wrong.

Why do you watch if every race is a “snoozer”?

Didn’t see a single lap today. Anything interesting happen other than Reddick winning? I see Truex went out of the race early.

Denny should have won but glad he didn’t. It was a good race overall. I hope this track stays racy for many years.

Silly season news:

Kaulig announcing Justin Haley’s replacement Friday.

Zane Smith has a new deal. He announces soon as well.

Live Fast could be selling the 78 charter. Spire may be the buyer. Trackhouse may lease from Spire. Zane Smith may be the driver.

Shane Van Gisbergen will be in nascar full time next year. Across all three series. Plus some late model races. I think the goal is for him to go full time in 25.
