The Nascar official responsible for hitting the caution lights was awfully fast on the trigger.

4 car goes from about to take the lead to the last car at full speed on the lead lap. Gonna knock him out of round two.

Truck Series driver Carson Hocevar, subbing in the 42 car, managed to pull off a 17th place finish. He has a bright future, I believe.

SHR just doesn’t have it this year. I still wonder if Tony is going to bail and work exclusively with his dirt and NHRA teams .

I’d like to see Tony buy / buy into the Foyt Indycar team and keep his CUP program going

I dont get his drag racing fetish (outside of his wife)

Harvick was in the top 5 all night until bad luck with the timing of a yellow flag. If the yellow comes out 2-3 seconds later, the 4 is in victory lane.

Enjoyed the race. My second one ever, including Darlington back in May.

I live 20 minutes from the track. Great experience every time. Been to 16 or 17 races there. Yesterday was the first Southern 500 that I missed in 8 years.

I went once and it was fun but once was good for me.

The race itself these days is pretty boring on TV, and the new car, while able to take a beating, doesn’t handle hitting the wall because of the toe link, something I never heard about until this car.

Once Hamlin/Reddick/Larson got out front it was a snooze fest.

Absolutely nothing happened the last 30 laps.

I would love to see him win in his final season. I wish he could pull it off and that was his best chance other than Phoenix.

I heard on Sirius Xm that Denny signed a multi year deal to remain at JGR. I was hoping he would venture out in his own and see how that would play out.
