Flips like that are the ones they usually walk away from. All of those flips and impacts on the corners of the car bleed off impact forces. Its the wreck where the car looks fairly intact and it was just a sudden stop that hurts you the most.

In the Cup Series, I believe it was Buescher in last year’s Coke 600. He spun into the grass, hit a drain cover just right and it tossed his car into the air.
