Hailie Deegan having a great run tonight. In a backup car, too.

Smoke dominant all night. Deegan impressive two weeks in a row.
Too bad so many cars wrecked and couldn't make the feature, but another fun race.

Four-time race winner William Byron will be forced to start from the back of the field in Sunday's Brickyard 200 after failing pre-race inspection three times on Friday.
NASCAR officials barred the No. 24 Chevrolet from Saturday's qualifying session.
Byron's car chief also was ejected for the rest of this weekend and Byron must serve a pass-thru penalty after taking the green flag. The team also cannot choose its pit stall for race day.

Road racing qualifying is the best of Nascar. Yet not on TV? Dumb

I see you're up early to downvote everyone immediately once they post.
Sad, yet impressive at the same time.

Larson led all 50 laps to win the Knoxville Nationals last night. 2nd win at this event in the last three years.

I remember watching the Gordon/ Everham documentary and Everham saying when he jumped to owner of his own team that they couldn't get away with the things they were able to get away with when he was at Hendrick.

He is undisputedely the most talented driver in Cup.
Cant wait to see him run indy (and maybe switch over full time ince he bags a Daytona 500)
The closest thing the sport has to a Jeff Gordon or Jimmie Johnson

I dunno. While I'll never forgive him nor be able to pull for him after wrecking Hornaday under Caution at Texas, Kyle Busch's record is exceedingly strong.

Seven or eight years ago HOF drivers like Mark Martin, Terry Labonte, Tony Stewart, and others were raving about his talent. Kyle Busch wins in a lot of stuff and he ran well when Eldora had the Prelude to the Dream races but what sets Larson apart is that Busch was winning those dirt late model races against other cup drivers. He wasn’t going to dirt late model crown jewel races and beating the best that dirt late models have to offer. It took Larson a handful of races in something he had never driven before to start winning against the best in the business.
The thing with Larson is that he’s going out and beating the best 410 sprint car drivers, the best dirt late model drivers, the best midget drivers, the best wingless sprint drivers, he’s winning in cup, the trucks, xfinity, etc. These are not one off celebrity races. He’s regularly beating guys who specialize in one type of car on bigger tracks like Eldora or Knoxville, and smaller tracks like Fairbury and on paved superspeedways, short tracks, and road courses.

An argument can be made for 2nd behind KB.
Using the word “undisputedly” with “best” undermines one’s credibility.
