I’ve been listening to the radio broadcast while floating in the pool. I don’t listen to the radio broadcast much, but when I have over the last few years I’ve come to realize that it just isn’t the way to consume a race anymore. The broadcasters themselves are typically fine, particularly on MRN, but my goodness the number of commercials is just ridiculous. You get 3-4 minutes of race coverage and then commercials. That’s how it is the entire race, over and over. I was truly paying attention, and still couldn’t keep up with what was happening in the race.
