1. What was ip with that tow truck destroying Loganos car? Did anyone see all the damage it did. Brutal

That was insane. The in-car camera catching Logano losing his shite on the track workers was pretty hilarious though.

4. Wonder if any fines for Larson hitting Hamlin during caution?

I think they will, even though Larson was justifiably pissed. NASCAR doesn't want to appear like they let retaliations under caution slide.

7. Kyle Petty is good for the show. Speaks his mind no sugarcoating. The rest including Dale Jr just spout the company line.

Agree with you on Petty. The others try to be very diplomatic much of the time, but I wouldn't say they 100% spout the company line. It was pretty obvious Dale Jr thought Austin Dillon wrecked himself yesterday, and Dillon called him out for that opinion during his interview.

8. Ross has to be liking Hamlin taking eyes off him. Keep in mind Hamlin wrecked Ross in race 2 this year and only got fined after he said so in a podcast.

Other than the win at Nashville, there hasn't been much reason to keep eyes on Chastain over the last couple of months anyway. If you include Darlington when Hendrick called him out, his average finishing position has been 19.7 in the last 9 races.

I honestly wonder if Hamlin is just being a smartass by claiming he never touched Larson, precisely because he got fined for admitting he wrecked Chastain. He won, so he figures it's simply best to double-down on his innocence and admit nothing.

Martin Truex Jr. calls Denny Hamlin's move on Kyle Larson 'dirty' after Pocono

quote:

“When I was running third, I picked the outside behind the 5 [Kyle Larson] and it got me to second,” Truex said to NASCAR SiriusXM. “I felt like if I just did that again, I was going to run second to him. So I picked the front row and I didn’t get the push I needed and I fell back again and I had to fight my way back. I don’t know, for whatever reason we couldn’t get the push we needed on the front row but we pushed a lot of guys today forward and whoever was the leader if they were in front of me they were going to keep the lead you know what I mean?

“I’m not exactly sure what that was all about but I feel like I picked the right lanes and I did exactly what Denny did besides running through – pushing the 5 car too deep in the corner and run him in the fence off of [Turn] 2. You know he kinda took it that extra little bit I guess to make it a little bit dirty and you know I didn’t so maybe that’s the difference why he won and I didn’t.”

Glad to see Truex be honest. Gibbs let his grandson win the xfinity series last year by being dirty, everyone forgot. And Hamlin is dirty. Bell is young and seems ok so far. Truex is the only real likeable driver Gibbs has.

And when all the other drivers push him up the track he’ll change his two faced tune. Can’t wait to hear his screeching then.

I like that Denny is embracing being the heel.

Just embrace it.

Hamlin needs some retribution and soon. He did exactly what Chastain did to Larson a few weeks back. NASCAR can clearly see when a car goes up the track to take someone out and Hamlin definitely fits that profile. Unless they get another Hamlin confession, they will continue to look the other way.

Larson needs to race as he gets raced. When you are inside that car, everyone is the same size.

Was listening to his interview with Claire B Lang after the race and she asked him if he was willing to do that for a win. He said not now. It's too early, and at the end of the year the trophy we want to win is a lot bigger. It's just too early to win dirty and tick guys off.

Time for SRX. Kyle Busch is in tonight’s race, as is Indy 500 winner Josef Newgarden.

Castroneves and Brad Keselowski also in tonight’s race.

Marco Andretti won Heat 1, Bowyer won Heat 2. Almost time for the Main.

Busch spins Keselowski fighting for the lead!

Kyle was there, though, and Brad came down.
