I think Larson put it well when he said that Denny is that guy in the friend group who is “always right” and everyone else knows he is that kind of guy and essentially just gets tired of trying to argue with him.

Exactly. And this board practically blows Tony Stewart who raced kust like that.
Larson is a great driver and would have thrived in the older era. But he’s bought into the soft mentality.
Edit: It seems to me that this type of racing was the norm until recently. Hamlin ran him up the track but we’ve all seen much worse. It just seems in today’s world Nascar has turned pussy and fans are turning that way too.
I also believe that if the people were reversed, this board wpuld be saying “just racing.”

The reason there is an anti-Hamlin bias is because he doesn't practice what he preaches. He expects people.to race him clean and when they don't(see Chase, who did punt him) he bitches and whines but when he is the one doing the deed he acts all high and mighty and it's always the other guy's fault.
That, and he's a douchebag and a prick.

Truth. Sr. took it like a man. In the early days he messed with Donnie Allison in practice if you can believe that, tapped him and spun him out. It didn’t get to on track payback, Donnie simply walked up to him after the session and said, “Don’t say a word, if you do that to me again, I’m going to put you in the wall.” And Sr. took it, respected it and he and Donnie were tight and had no issues moving forward.

Found the one Hamlin fan. Hamlin has wrecked drivers his whole career. In fact he wrecked Kyle Petty back in the day. Hamlin wrecked Chastain last year to win and wrecked Larson this year to win. He wrecked Elliot at Richmond to win. He wrecked Elliott this year then whined when Chase paid him back. How many others? Lots. His legacy is wrecked too.
Hope Larson gets the telemetry and posts it on social media like Hamlin. And Richmond fans hate Hamlin so he will have a lot of fun this weekend. He’s a whiney punk who acts tough until he gets punched then goes home and cries to Mommy.

Look at all those lanes underneath Hamlin. And look at the contact (he lied). And then afterwards he took zero blame and played victim. Said he never touch Larson and left him room. He pushed him out of raceable groove on purpose. Should Nascar sit him since they established precendence? Larson saved it but they were going fast. Imagine had he went sideways in front of field then would Nascar sit him? Those are Dennys rules you know. Should Larson take to social media and show data to get him suspended?

Also need to shut down the Nascar favors Chase crowd. They threw flag for less earlier but Nascar favors Toyota and Denny/Bubba. They want Toyota to do great hoping upon hope Bubba can luck into a win to check that block off.
Something I noticed this year. Chevy was dominating early season then Nascsr kept taking Hendrick cars to tear down. I will never trust Nascar and anything Chevy learned was likely passed on to Toyota and Ford. Ford was garbage all season then all the sudden they are flying.
Anyways, Nascar is a shell of itself and has made some horrible decisions. They hate the core fans. I watch out of habit but its getting close to shutting the door. I follow Chase because of his dad. And I like some other drivers too. Rowdy is another I like.

For me personally, the biggest issue isn’t what Hamlin did, but rather his unwillingness to own it and effort to blame Larson for what happened.
Hamlin continues to maintain that he gave Larson plenty of room and didn’t hit Larson, but Hamlin clearly went up the track and hit Larson which caused Larson to hit the wall. He would look better, in my opinion, if he would just say he made the move he felt he needed to make to win.

1. What was ip with that tow truck destroying Loganos car? Did anyone see all the damage it did. Brutal
2. Why was Bubba allowed to keep his starting spot? He basically wrecked in qualifying and changed his tires before race (which is auto rear of field) yet did not. He scraped wall and yes they can put new wrap but the yellow was off tires afterwards yet at start of race had yellow there.
3. Wonder if any fines for helmet toss?
4. Wonder if any fines for Larson hitting Hamlin during caution?
5. Nascar favored Toyota yesterday not throwing flag at ending.
6. Fans were booing both Hamlin and no yellow.
