Chase is 64 points out of 16th w/9 races left, certainly doable but a win is still the best bet to make the playoffs.

Gotta be honest, I hope yhe pre-race the shite out of this weekend's Chicago race. The wife and I got tickets for it, but we're DVRing it so I can come home and see how the coverage loons compared to being there live.

I'm doing the same.
I also saw an ad where NBC 5 and NBC Sports Chicago are going to have some things. I'm not sure if it will be pre-recorded fluff (like a NASCAR For Dummies type of show), but I'm interested to see what the local coverage is like. I've heard some comments that Brandon Johnson is actually being quite supportive of the event.

Wow, Ross Chastain managed to finish a race without wrecking himself and others. That's progress.
And what do you think he learned by actually racing people to the finish line? One: His car was changing as the race evolved and what he couldn't run down early he got the best of in the late stages. Imagine that, Chastain let his pit crew and crew chief make adjustments throughout the race and he just drove the car.
