If you’re Larson, you’ve gotta take the opportunity to spin Hamlin at some point down the road, right?

I doubt it. Larson and Hamlin are good friends.

was good racing by both of them. If Hamlin moved him for the win, it’s what should be expected. Hamlin is soft if he doesn’t make that move.

but I don't have a problem with Hamlin there.

Same here. Good, hard racing and Kyle got loose when Denny side-drafted him and Denny got into him. It wasn't intentional. Kyle seemed okay w/it.

And I'm all for a Ross-Gragson feud.

Agreed. Probably an unpopular opinion, but I don't have a problem with Hamlin there.

It was also obvious Larson was loose, and it looked like he got into the wall again right before Hamlin clipped him. I don't believe it was intentional.

You’re exactly right. But people love to hate Hamlin. And they think the race happens in slow motion just like the replay. When a driver is right on someone’s arse and the guy in front lifts there’s going to be contact 99.9% of the time. The only thing Hamlin could have done to avoid it is not race Larson hard, hang back and just let him win.

I don’t either. I also wouldn’t have a problem if Larson pays him back.

Or you just lay back until the white flag and tap the leader's bumper instead of just hard racing to the finish. Those fans that were doing all that booing knew why they were booing.

Eh, they are the low IQ section of the fanbase that give all of us NASCAR fans a bad name.

ETA: Guess I triggered some folks w/that comment. Oh well.

Laugh all you want, but Hamlin didn't intentionally move Larson.

Comments, in reverse

Ross is really running out of friends. He got Rowdy riled up earlier then Noah. Cheap shot by Ross then hid behind other men. He doesn’t realize these drivers all going to make his life hard on track. Why is he always involved in racing ssues, like every week. Success has went to his head, he’s no longer humble and it will cost him for years to come.

Larson just can’t catch a break. First he gets spun by Reddick but had a great save. Then at the end with new angles it seems he got loose and brushed wall scrubbing speed and no one is going to lift on last lap, so Hamlin won. I’d love to blame Denny but just can’t. And Larson has been wrecked 3 weeks in a row (counting Reddick spinning him not Hamlim). Larson can’t react harshly because he got that 1 year suspension and has to stay on good behavior. Too bad but thats reality, and he doesn’t want to risk anything with Nascar.

Best race of year so far. Had to watch on dvr due to other events but man that was fun racing. Rare for a 1.5 miler. Lots of good cars took themselves out. And loved how Gibbs took a barely dinged up car and destroyed it driving back to pit lane. Love seeing it, he’s a punk like Chastain is becoming.

Comers and goers all race long. Just awesome, been a long time since seen one like this. Everyone racing like its last lap every lap.

One thing I noticed between F1 and Nascar booths. F1 you can hear car noise in the booth and they seem more excited maybe because they raise voices a bit more due to noise. Nascar its so quite that you hear no outside noise and it seems removed from racing. Old time Nascar you heard the cars in booth and it gave booth a better sound and feel. They need to figure out how to improve that aspect as I think it makes a huge difference in what viewers experience. F1 has it right and regardless the race the booth makes it as exciting as possible with assist from car noise making it seem more authentic. Just my opinion.

To be fair, when Gragson first grabbed Chastain, Chastain warned him to stop. When Gragson pushed him, Chastain threw the punch.
