Time for break and hopefully a shakeup next year.
Hoping to see McLaren continue to move up and Ferrari to get their shite straight.
Can’t wait for the Checo replacement announcement

Regarding the Danny to Red Bull talk...
Head to head, in finishing position, Yuki beat Danny 4 to 3. So, it seems pretty even.
But in finishing in points-scoring position, Yuki beat Danny 4 to 1. Yuki moved forward with AlphaTauri's late-season upgrades. Danny had one spectacular race in Mexico, but that was it.
I think Horner really wanted an excuse to sack Perez early and replace him with Danny in 2024. But Danny didn't get the job done. All the Ricciardo fans thought he would destroy Yuki. But I think both Marko and Tost warned that people were underrating Yuki.
I would have rather seen Liam Lawson in the 2nd AlphaTauri seat for next year, and have Yuki and Liam fight it out for the Red Bull seat in 2025. Danny seems washed out to me.

And Yuki was with the car all year, Danny came in mid season and then missed an additional 4 races due to injury.

Danny might be out of F1 for good soon

To Danny's credit I don't think he has once made the excuse that any of his performances were affected by rust, unfamiliarity with the car, or his injury. So I don't know why others try to make these excuses for him. My prediction is that he is not going to return to the form he had at his peak with Red Bull. I think Red Bull would have been better off promoting Liam instead of holding him back for another year.

Wow, P4 to P7 was incredibly tight. If there was no Red Bull, the driver's championship would have been a lot more fun.

I don't disagree, just pointing out that familiarity with a car makes the difference and to try to compare Yuki to Danny when Yuki had a huge advantage isn't apples to apples.
I dont' want RB to replace Checo with Danny... Would rather see them grab Alonso or make a suprise with someone else off the grid.

I haven't read the thread yet. Just started watching the race. Was there a non-kids regular broadcast? Youtubetv dvrd the kids broadcast, and f1tv only has the kids broadcast.

I have no idea wtf is going on in this race.

I got the kids on YoutubeTV as well but F1TV has the regular feed for me.

Thanks. I see it now. My roku f1tv app isn't showing it, but my phone app is. Weird.

Watching on roku here and didn't see F1kids on F1TV but wasn't looking for it either.

The kids things was a little weird. But I did think they did a decent job.
I hope one of the other teams can figure their shite out and challenge red bull next year. Merc might be able to get there with a fixed driver position.

No commentary on your boy Perez literally having to be handed 2nd place on the track by a slower car?

I have never watched the broadcast, but did see the outtake where Nico scolded a kid when the kid called him "Britney"
The whole history of Nico being called Britney is funny and Nico finally found someone to pick on about it.

I had the same issue. YouTube TV gives you an option under the episode to pick which version you want to watch. Had the ESPNU version and the regular version as options.

In my dream-world I would love to sew Kyle Larson take the second spot with Red Bull behind Verstappen next year. He starts practicing with the car and track style right now. How many races into next season before he is competitive? How many races before he is starting to approach Max's pace?
