@DrinkBodyArmor is getting into @F1 for the first time with a sponsorship of @F1LasVegas, becoming the official sports drink of the race.
It will promote its Flash I.V. drink by providing it to drivers and having advertising around the circuit including on the Sphere.

They really got a very extensive group of folks for the Brawn doc.
Signore Luca Cordero di Montezemolo doesn't look or act like he is any happier about losing Ross and getting beat by him than he was 14 years ago.
I liked how Jean Brawn was reticent to have their name on the car since it might be shite. Also to Ross on the financial side essentually just don't lose the house.

@PokerStars is becoming the first @RedBullRacing sponsor to brand the team's wheel covers for a race, with its logo featuring on poker chip-looking wheels this weekend at Vegas.
It won't be readable during the race, and even during pit stops the logo will hardly be visible to anyone.
I'm surprised no F1 team has figured out how to make the wheel covers into floaters to increase the advertising space on the cars.

I know they're for aero purposes but I really wish they'd do away with the wheel covers completely. Under those covers is a really good looking 18" wheel. I'd love to one day see a Ferrari sporting gold wheels again. Even the Alpha Tauri when they ran white wheels looked good.

The F310 was a beautiful car but was a donkey. IRCC that was the picture taken at winter testing which was the first time Michael had been in a Ferrari. The successor to it, the F310b, was the first Ferrari designed under Ross Brawn as the technical director. Brawn got promoted when Todt moved the whole team from England to Italy and Bernard wouldn't go. I think it is interesting how Luca is staring at Michael like a prize racehorse, while on the other side, Eddie looks all alone.
Bit of trivia: at the press conference that day Luca promised the car would win three races and in the hand of Schumacher that is exactly what it did including the all-important Italian GP at Autodromo Nazionale Monza aka La Pista Magica.

It can. There's less contact area on the tires when they're run at higher pressures
Higher tire pressures also increases the overall spring rate, which will make the car more loose.

Maybe that is plummeting, but probably still twice as much as face on that ticket.
Don't remember what face value was. Most were sold in packages by the casino groups if I remember right.
Mirage sent me an email about their package and it was like 4k for the 3 days.

Grandstands by start stop were 2800 each after fees. I think the general admission by the msg sphere were like 650 after fees.

The Vegas GP pit exit goes right into a racing line of turn 1. Might be a disaster

Eh, I sold my tickets a couple of weeks ago before the prices dropped. Transferred them same day but dude hasn’t accepted the transfer yet. Been on the phone with Ticketmaster making sure I’ll get paid regardless. One person says one thing, somebody else says something different. Getting really pissed off now.
I’d probably be out a grand if I had to resale the tickets at these prices.

Why so many people in the stands? FP1 isn't until tomorrow night, right?

Thanks fightin tigers for posting for me.
Opening ceremony was only about half an hour long and ended with introducing teams in reverse order of st- standings.
Every opening act got a single song. Not too shabby but was shorter than adervtised. Lots of mclaren and Red Bull fans.
Heading to Sinatra for dinner then marshmellow at midnight.
I’m too old for this shite

I didn’t get that feeling. Just felt like everyone wanted to see what’s going on.
