Didnt Danny struggle in a McClaren built for Norris? Im afraid Danny in a RB would be similar results to being crushed.
The only saving grace is Danny also likes oversteer in his car. The McLaren thing was really weird, i think it was mental as much as anything.

Riccardo could never get the braking down with the McLaren. I know it sounds weird but it was under decel that he he was on the wrong foot.

I didn't realize how late the practice/qualifying/race is scheduled to be until I looked it up. I guess that's one way to beat the desert heat

Didn't he drive the car off the track?
First it was a hydraulic issue. Now the engine was going to go nuclear.
Did leclerc just brain fart like he always does? I think so.
Does a brain fart blow blue smoke out the back of the car like was visible right before he spun?

It could, its not like this would be the first time.

Tsunoda went off at Turn 10 during the first stint of the race, losing crucial ground.
“Yeah that was a big mistake,” Tsunoda said. “So yeah it was a bit scary I actually, I shite my pants. Luckily I didn’t expect a DNF.”

After five turns during the formation lap, the electronic self-protection system detected a completely abnormal value and shut everything down. If this had not happened, if the engine had not been immediately shut down by the system, it would have exploded a few meters later
So if I got this right. It now was not a hydraulic failure, but a self protection that was of critical mass. It shut the whole thing down to protect the car from blowing up.
However, Charles was somehow able to restart the car and drive the car out of the barrier and to the safety road under its own power.
Ferrari thought that restarting and engine in failsafe was a solid idea to try. I understand they have screwed up a lot, but that doesn't even sound like something Ferrari would do.

The rumor mill has pretty much gone cold regarding Alonso to RB...
Was hoping we'd have more rumors popping up after that performance Sunday.

This is my exact thoughts as well.

Believe it was Missed Apex that I was listening to and they brought up a good comparison.
Two drivers through 7 seasons
Wins: 5 vs 10
Poles: 22 vs 3
Podiums: 28 vs 42
Points: 1038 vs 1162
That is Charles vs Max in their first 7 years. Sure a lot of different interpretations can be made, but thought it was a cool comparison.

Charles' inability to convert poles to wins is really mind boggling.

Its a cluster, was there last weekend.
Cannot imagine what it will look like race week when they actually block off the track. Clusterfrick of epic proportions.

If he had a car that consistently had race pace he could compete. A lot of this is on Ferrari.
