Just watching qualifying, is Logan Sargent a one and done? Or does anyone think he gets another year?

Don’t see how he makes it.

I was originally thinking they would give him another year but I’m not so sure anymore considering his recent struggles. If he keeps destroying that car they can’t afford to keep him.

Would like to see RB loan out Liam for that seat.

1/2 a second gap for VER? - WOW

Suzuka is glorious.

Good day for Piastri - he's had a decent season.

Good to see Yuki make Q3 at his home race.

Hate to see that again for Sargeant. Is his seat secured for 2024?

TIL Albons financial backer is the family of a Thai billionaire who originally created Red Bull.

Horner sorta nixed that idea this weekend. Sounds like he wants options when he dumps checo after 24 and he didn't think Williams want a 1 year solution

I continue to be impressed by Lawson and obviously Piastri.

Suzuka is such a great layout. I’m glad it’s dry there for once all weekend.

Piastri is proving to be worth all the drama. We'll see for sure over the next season or so

His crashes will do him in. The overall performance wasn't terrible, lagging that far behind Albon isn't good, but until he started wrecking ever week he still had a run.

He doesn't bring enough money in a cost cap era to risk another year.

Merc likely wouldn't allow that. Needs to cut ties from Red Bull driving academy.

she didn't steal enough to get him to the summer break but she should be out now with a new "plan."

The only way I see Sargent keeping that seat is because Dorilton wants to keep an American driver.

Also, I get that f1 is cut throat and that’s why we love it, but giving a driver one year only is kind of weak. You signed him for a reason, and he’s on a 1 mil a year salary (cheapest) so it makes financial sense to keep him around, as long as his wrecks don’t total his salary

I guess it does if he sells more t-shirts than they'd make with Constructors place money. Even then, he's costing them future Constructors money by not being able to invest more into their organization and falling further behind everyone else.

Vowles said they have to keep spending money producing replacement parts that was meant for new development because sergeant keeps crushing cars
