Vegas is being put on by Liberty/F1 versus using an outside promotor.

Liberty is losing a shite ton of money, ticket sales have sucked (Vegas hotels are now slashing prices race weekend) and street races (outside of a few like Long Beach that started 25+ years ago when racing was more popular in the US) have a long history of being unsustainable boondoggles...

Vegas is off the schedule in under 5 years.

Liberty sells to the Saudis within 3 years as well...We have already reached peak f1 in the country

I’m tempted but the weekend overall is too rich for my blood

Go to the Indy 500 instead- better party, better race, and you can do it big at Indy and be a part of the World's Largest Single Day Sporting Event for under $2500

I think Vegas prices will drop leading up to race weekend just like the first Miami race. (Had tickets to that and ended up not being able to make it last minute and sold at a loss). Plus as family obligations come up during Thanksgiving some folks are gonna be dropping their tickets quick.

Do we think Red Bull's struggles will continue?

Conspiracy take o'the day

Red Bull break the consecutive wins streak for driver and manufacturer, essentially clinching the drivers and constructors and then magically hit a wall as to not attract further attention to dominance hmmmmmmmmm

If could mean whatever those TD's were really put the screws on RBR in a way unanticipated.

Think this race is a blip on the radar, but does show a crack in their dominance. If only 100% dominance to 80% dominance going forward.

Impressive theater if they were faking the slow pace all weekend.

About a month away from USGP in Austin at COTA. Haven’t booked a place to stay yet but our parking pass and wrist bands came in the mail last week.

Anyone else heading that way this year?

Sure would be nice for another oddball win by Ferrari McLaren or even a Fernando win as we were lucky enough to see Kimi win his last race back in 2018.

Were they faking that they were sliding all over the track for 3 days?

Have the parking passes, but no wristbands.

Saw something online about some delays.

Flying into San Antonio and renting a car this time. Staying in the Horseshoe Bay area

Is that an hour and a half north west of the track like I just googled or did I do it wrong?

In honor of Japan coming up I'd like to remind everyone of the time when, in the rain, Nicholas Latifi took a wrong turn on the track during FP3, and then blamed the car for him going the wrong way

This is my favorite F1 moment of my young F1 watching career.

You googled right. Friend's family has a lakehouse we are all staying at.

Free house in exchange for a ride

RB anticipated it. That's why last week Racey was telling every reporter he could find find that it wouldn't affect RB. He knew it would. None of these frickers can ever tell the truth. They are almost as bad as politicians

I’ve got an extra set of tickets in section 103 for the Vegas Grand Prix if anyone wants them. They include the Wednesday night deal. Just asking for what I paid for them.

How much you pay for them, baw?
