That RBR DRS is so good, I feel like Max is gonna have to DNF to not win out.

They should have Piastri take out Max tomorrow at the start

McLaren appears to have actually brought effective upgrades. Let’s see how it holds up over a full race.

Checo better bring it tomorrow, you know Christian and Helmut are getting antsy.

Heck of a day for Mclaren, hope they have race pace to stay towards the front.

Commentary trying to throw doubt as Max dominates every session. Just watch P2 down at this point.

They kept promising upgrades and over the last 3-4 races I think they delivered.

I wouldn't have believed the upgrades except that piastri is right there as well.

It’s so obvious that Nyck doesn’t belong in F1, he’s the worst driver in the grid. He got his chance.

I haven’t got a chance to watch quali yet but just saw the grid.

I’m pumped! What a turnaround, hopefully they can continue on this upward trend.

It's hard to think Lando is just always unlucky. Seems like every time he has a great Quali, 1 lap later he's outside of the top 10.

I just never get the sense that he's nearly as good as he's thought to be.

Starting on the front row is a fantastic opportunity for Lando to show what he's made of. or

Asked if he was surprised by McLaren’s performance after taking seventh behind Mercedes teammate George Russell, Hamilton replied:

“Not surprised. If you look at the car it makes sense.
“I’m really happy for them, they’ve had a bad run for so long. To be back up there is really, really great to see. “

Pressed further on what he meant by his comments about the MCL60, Hamilton added: “Well if you put it alongside a Red Bull it’s looks very, very similar down the sides.

Quali sessions this season have been more entertaining than some of the races. Good to see McLaren performing well.

Cool to have a Mark Webber sighting in the paddock. I didn't know he was Piastri's manager.
