Next year the calendar is supposed to have a better arrangement for geography. Not much difference in flight time from London to Baku and London to Montreal.

Canada probably pays for their spot on the calendar as well. So not sure how they link up if Miami wants to pay for their spot as well.

Just on paper, flipping Imola and Canada makes perfect sense, but then you have to take into consideration typical weather, interrupting traffic, etc.

That looks badass. Wow. I'm loving Williams/Albon being in the mix for points. I'd love to see them move up towards the middle. They just need tracks with all straight aways and they'd be right up there

I thought I was going to hate McLaren's look when they released them preseason but they are actually one of the better looking ones on the track imo.

We have completely opposite taste. McLaren's livery to date this year is shite thrown on a wall IMO. That thing at Monaco was butt ugly.

I think the white rear wing on the Williams is sharp.

24 races in 2024 with big steps forward in regionalisation

Suzuka at the beginning of the season instead of at the end of the season with Brazil is super weird. The frickin' Arabs have two consecutive races to both start and end the season.

I'm surprised Qatar is back on the schedule. I thought this MotoGP track was added a couple of years ago as a schedule-filler during COVID. I don't remember how good the racing was for F1 at this track. Seems like there's only one passing zone.

It wasn't too bad of a race, think there were multiple lines through some corners. Qatar has thrown a lot of money at the track since and seems to be willing to throw more.

I hate 24 races, all this will likely do is create more meaningless races at the end of the season.

The Mrs. (no pics) is agreeable to the Canadian Grand Prix in 2024.

When looking for hotels in Montreal anything within a couple blocks of the metro/subway is good. Berri-UQAM is the main hub with spokes going off. You have to transfer at (or enter at) Berri-UQAM to the line going to the track. Really hard to get lost, follow all the other F1 people. It moves fast despite the crowd size.

AirBnBs are very unreliable and honestly not worth the savings.

Not a bad idea to have a backup plan for accommodations you can cancel a month or two out.

You don't need a rental car if flying into Montreal. Uber is good, but public transportation is cheap, fast, clean, safe.

So Brad Pitt is going to lead the formation lap for Silverstone?

Why him and why there? You'd think he'd do Miami/Austin/Vegas.

Because he's gonna star in that new F1 movie and Hamilton is involved. My guess.

I thought someone posted that they're going to start filming at Silverstone this week.

Supposed to film at every race until the end of the season. Not sure every film session will be on track for the GP.

According to the official notes they have pit stalls next to Ferrari

There is still confusion on what will be happening Sunday. I think the fake car leading the lap is an internet rumor. Have seen everything from no filming during the GP to they will film on part of the track during the warmup laps or recon laps.

Would be pretty surprising for Pitt to actually be driving any of those laps.
