Idk what happened but a lot of fans, including myself, have come around to Kyle Busch.
Same. I used to hate his fricking guts.

This finish guarantees NASCAR will do another dirt race at Bristol next year.

It’s Jimmie Johnson. Arguably the best driver in nascar history and you can’t even spell his name right?

Knoxville is probably the only other option.
Maybe Port Royal in PA but they don't have the grandstands.
There is also Learnersville Speedway in Butler County, PA(my home) that is a 2/5 mile dirt track. It is literally 10 mins.from my dad's house.
That'd be interesting to see if they could run there.

Shows how memorable he was.
And how easy it is to push some buttons.

The racing under green, especially at the end, was pretty good. Too many cautions though I will say that.

If you're gonna troll, at least do it right and not half-assed.

Easy there, kemosabe.
He's top-5 but he's not tGOAT. That title goes to David Pearson.

Funny how someone from Wisconsin calls someone else a hick.

I thought tonight was a good race.
NASCAR can still tweak some things about this race, but they are making concerted efforts to try new things and I'm okay with that.

100% agree.
Unfortunately the easy and lazy thing to do is just bitch about things when they don't work out the way people think they should work out.

It’s because he’s the only one with personality and that’s what NASCAR is missing. I usually hate Shrub and I laughed pretty good at his post race.
As for the quality of the race, NASCAR needs races like this more often. Yes their were a lot of cautions, and I almost felt like I was watching the pure stock feature at the local speedway, but that would improve if they did more than one race on dirt.
I will admit I have almost given up on the series and only watch races such as this but looking at those stands tonight was pretty sad. I remember when every Bristol race had a waiting list for tickets and you had to pay a pretty penny on the secondary market. Now they can’t even get it half full.

Always found it odd how Kurt Busch didn’t become as popular as Kyle, especially after winning the first year of the chase back in 2004.
Posted on 4/18/22 at 12:49 am to Paul Allen
Because Kurt was a brat with a shitty attitude. Everyone wanted Jimmy Spencer to kick his arse back then

Lernerville doesn't have a wall around it the entire way, so while that'd be funny to watch never in a million years would they go there.

Gotcha.
It's a great little racetrack. Place is always packed.

It was an awful race. The only redeeming thing about it was I got Kyle Busch at 16-1 live on Fanduel while he was inside the Top-5.

I get what you're saying, but I don't think there is anything wrong with people expressing their negative opinion about a race. Sure, there's a point where one can go overboard in doing so, but there is plenty to criticize with the on track product in NASCAR these days.
