Oh yeah. Gibbs wrecked his teammate Jones for the win. That cost Jones a berth in the championship 4.
Gragson was referring JGR as Ty Gibbs Racing on Saturday. Said he deserved to have his arse beat. I really see Gibbs as a place no one wants to be because of Ty.

If we want to talk about being handed things, Gibbs has double of Chase Elliot's career Xfinity wins in half the starts

Ty can drive. No one is disputing that. But damn does this kid think he is Jesus himself.
He literally told Claire B. Lang after the race, "Jesus was hated at first."
That's arrogance that I've never seen before.
Hey Ty....
Expect plenty of that next year.

I expect payback from Jones and JRM this weekend.

I don't even really like Ty, and thats an awful look, but if we are all adults here we know what he meant by that and its not "I'm comparing myself to Jesus".

I think hes fine with it
As far as on the track, Ross proved this year you can be very aggressive and for the most part get away with it. Theres a lot of soy consumption in the garage now and smart guys should take advantage of the fact that the most you might get is someone blocking a little harder than they would for someone else if you're about to lap them.

Watched the interview with Joey and it's not as bad as the quote makes it seem. He makes some good points.
I'll have to watch it.

NASCAR is scratching their nuts at how to solve this one.
I don't think we can start saying something thats in the bounds of the track is out of bounds when hes only tearing up his own car
If everyone starts doing it then it doesn't really work anyway.

Jones has little incentive not to get revenge against Gibbs because (A) Jones no longer has a shot at the championship, and (B) Jones is leaving Joe Gibbs Racing to go drive for JR Motorsports in 2023 so he can't lose his ride if he does something.

I know what he was trying to say. But how it came across is just awful. Dude drives and acts like he's the second coming.

When you watch from the in car view it's hard to believe he maintained that much speed with as rough as that was

So is this gonna be the norm for the last lap of every shirt track race in cup from this point forward?
Posted on 10/31/22 at 11:39 am to Sticker1971
I don't see it working anywhere other than Martinsville. Maybe Richmond, but I doubt it.
The apex speed is really low at Martinsville. Other tracks not so much.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Days of Thunder, it's the first thing I thought of when I saw it live, well the second, the first was laughing at Denny
