It was wild. Wish I knew which race it was I'm trying to remember where somebody tried to bounce it off the wall to win. Now I'm thinking it was Carl Edwards that did it.

Yeah I think it was at Kansas. Tried to send it in deep against Jimmie Johnson in 3 and 4, slid right up the track and hit the wall and Johnson drove right by him.

Twitter - It was Carl Edwards

Similar, but not nearly as dramatic and didn't work.

That was so fricking boss move...everyone who shite on Chastain earlier this year, rightfully so, is amazed right now.

Would Chastain’s awesome move work on all the short tracks?

He was lucky there was space on the outside. If there are other cars in the line it doesn't work.

Just a lot of things going right and the balls to pull it off.

Probably depends on the track. At Martinsville, no one runs up by the wall in the turns. At a place like Bristol or Dover, they do. So Martinsville might be the only place where no one would be in your way in the turns.

Problem is you have to be able to carry that speed all the way down the front stretch.

If Brad had been a bit further back he would have been right in the way. How funny would it have been if Denny was on the outside and he had slammed into him at the line and wrecked them both?

What did Denny say after?

I'd like to see the tele from that too and see if he ever lifted off the gas. It's kind of hard to tell from the sound with the whole crashing and whatnot. RPMs dropped but of course that happens when you slam into the wall.

Not to be a Debbie Downer, but after the race multiple drivers called for NASCAR to officiate moves like Chastain's in the future. They say the door has been opened to do that at *any* track, so there needs to be a rule (Logano suggested if you hit wall, you can't gain a spot).

Not surprised stale Logano is against it.

All I can really say is, I'd like to see the F1 snobs try and top that.

Larson was one of them.

What about the grass? We already have dumb yellow line rules. The pass in the grass wouldn't be a thing if their ideas were approved.

Logano’s suggestion doesn’t work. What if two guys are battling and one scrapes the wall but can continue. He can’t pass now? Such a rule would prevent something like the Craven/Kurt Busch Darlington finish.

Logano needs to STFU and drive. He only wishes he could pull that off

Yet he did the same thing last year
