That was single-handedly the greatest move I've seen in NASCAR cup racing and I've been watching since the 80's.

That move Chastain pulled is similar to what I did in a league race on NASCAR 2011 at Watkins Glenn on the last turn. The guy who finished second was pissed and protested

In Papyrus's NASCAR Racing 2003, you could do that at Richmond all the way around the track. I raced in a league back then and during practice I just started messing around and just started flying around the place. Before you knew everyone was up on the wall going like 165mph all the way around the track.
Papy released a patch a few months later and fixed it. Basically someone had coded the wall with tons grip on it and you could just rim ride the whole track wide open.

Just how they are are. They don't like it when someone finds an advantage and cashes in big on it. Usually they allow it the first time but make plans to stop it in the future.

It was wild.
Wish I knew which race it was I'm trying to remember where somebody tried to bounce it off the wall to win.
