I think his Bristol comment was intentional. Bristol used to be known for using chrome bumper to move people and I think that was Chase saying for Kyle to watch out in future, if you are gonna do that twice to me then expect some payback down the road.

Briatol owes Chase some ad money lol.

Chase got Chastained again by Kyle

Larson at Auto Club Speedway: “I didn’t know he was there.”

Larson at Watkins Glen: “I'm not proud of it, but we did what we had to do."

This was right after Chase had debriefed both Gordon and Mr.H immediately after the race. The look on both of their faces says it all.

This ain't over. By a longshot.

Nah. He just has the personality of a rock. He makes Jimmie Johnson seem dynamic.

This is true. He is quite boring in the personality department. A lot of drivers are now. Ryan Blaney is pretty boring. Cindric is boring. Byron is boring. Christopher Bell is boring.

I've been watching since the 90's and F1 is nothing like that.

Well that's a matter of perspective. Google "why can't they pass in F1" and see how many results you get....

It's just a different kind of racing. There have been some pretty good battles this year so far.

I’d disagree on Blaney. I think he’s dry but not boring.

Go to his official Youtube page. That's the real Clyde. The Chase we see on the track has been programmed since he was 14 years old(when he signed w/HMS) to give corporate answers and be stoic at all times on camera.

Wanna know the root of why I don't like the #9, there it is. How in the world can anyone REALLY know the "talent of a kid when they're 14. You can't. They signed him because of who his daddy was....

You mean "Follow the leader" is a form of racing?

And if you breathe hard on F1 car's they explode....

Yes. I had to double check the schedule.

One of my favorite NASCAR commercials, by the way.

I know several who saw him at that age and younger around various short tracks up and down the east coast who echoed the same. The first time I ever heard his name a driver told me he just got his tail handed to him by Bills kid, said the kid was the class of the field and knew how to race.

I get the kid had a silver spoon and ultimately was in the best possible situation. To deny his talent though is asinine. Is he the pure wheelman of a KB, Larson, Reddick? No. Does he have a knack for reading the track and car and communicating everything to the crew chief to get the absolute most from his equipment which levels the playing field against those wheelmen? Yes.

Put him in an RCR or Petty Motorsports car and lets see how he does.

Also ran, Chase Elliot....

Chase probably has the best car more often than anyone else in the sport has it. In NASCAR the gap between the best car and the next 5 or sometimes 10 isn't always that much, though sometimes it can be quite large.

In these lower series, the car gaps make any thing in NASCAR look like nothing. You know he had the best thing on the track in whatever lower series whenever he went out there.

I think hes a pretty good driver, but like you said he is in the best possible situation (largely because of who his dad is). I don't think ranking drivers is a productive exercise since they are all in different cars, but I think most people would put KB or Larson at the top, then there are a few options after that.
