because we're not all in the basketball playoffs

last night we were standing room only in Chalmette as we made one run stand up in a 1-0 victory over Holy Cross. We ended up with four hits and HC only had 1

HC had bases loaded with none out in the seventh and we struck out the side

But you're still the meats from Chalmette. This would never happen with a Lou Carboni coached Holy Cross team

Chalmette should have blown them out, we left way too many on. Our batting with RISP was atrocious

Probably wouldn’t have happened with an Andy Cannizaro HC team.

Luckily he’s suspended

Notre Dame over St Louis tonight 5-4. Pios spotted the Saints 3 in the first and came back to win with go ahead runs in the 5th

I’m not their insider lol

But some rule about practicing early or something and he was suspended 6 games, probably by the LHSAA. Kamlade was their coach last night

In all seriousness. Chalmette at least for Holy Cross was our territory and really no one else's. From a baseball perspective it was the kids from Versailles, Rebel and Val Reiss(sp) that supplied the kids....is Chalmette grabbing those now that HC is out at the Lakefront?

I would think HC got more players from Carolyn Park and the former Vista… the further down the parish you go the less HC fans you’ll see.

past Meraux it’s almost 100% CHS. It’s not like you can drive easily to anywhere else.

We even probably have had some from the wrong side of the parish line in Braithwaite.

Heard terrebonne hung tough with parkview last night before parkview pulled away. Terrebonne ace Lovell is the real deal. Fanned 12 last night . Wouldn’t be surprised to see jay johnson calling soon .

I’m assuming Barbe is the favorite again. Is it coaching, development thru travel ball, or recruiting that makes them so good? I’m assuming that St. Louis, Sam Houston, and Sulphur’s best players play on the same elite travel teams as Barbe’s best players. Or do Future Barbe players field their own team with only future Barbe attendees, which would help with team chemistry, additional reps together in the field, etc.?

The rules for when you can start team workouts is pretty clear, why would he even try to break them with all the eyes watching every move he makes?
