I would like to see Max get 8 titles to knock off Lewis.

RBR's statement after FIA findings:

In a statement Red Bull said they reacted with “surprise and disappointment” to the FIA’s decision.
“Our 2021 submission was below the cost cap limit, so we need to carefully review the FIA’s findings as our belief remains that the relevant costs are under the 2021 cost cap amount.
“Despite the conjecture and positioning of others, there is of course a process under the regulations with the FIA which we will respectfully follow while we consider all the options available to us.”

To think Toto had to endure pumpernickel that didn't snap and racey spice over there pouring Dom.

TBF, the F1-75 is competitive against the RB18, as are the drivers. I'm not saying Chuck would have won the WDC this year, but they could have made it a lot closer had they not Ferrari'd their way out of the championship.

I fricking knew that teams were hiding costs in support staff. I think I had used the example of janitors getting six figure salaries. I guess RBR had caterers with PhD's in mechanical engineering.

CNC machines are toothpick makers.

They are still competitive. Max has 12 wins but only 5 poles and Saturday .05 separated the top 3. Ferrari have the speed they just can't get out of their own way on Sunday.

Daily free lunch for many of their 1,000 members of staff at their Milton Keynes headquarters is a key contributor to Red Bull’s overspend, the report states.
If they are feeding even half of them every day that's gonna be a big number even at Popeyes. Can't believe they have 1000 employees. That's insane
I don't really understand the numbers. Toyota had $450 million budget in 2008 and all the other big teams were over $400m. How is the FIA determining what is in this $145 million because no one can convince me they are spending less now than 15 years ago.

It will probably take weeks or months for all the snippets to trickle out about how the money was spent, or overspent.
It does suck that these teams had to fire people when they could have easily supported them financially.

There are some pretty high dollar exclusions in the budget cap.

Excluding engine costs makes it a joke. That's probably half the teams budget. If the FIA wants to level the playing field stop counting cocktail weiners and look at where the real costs are. Or stop pretending that's what they are doing

Then it comes down to customer teams vs factory teams and all.
I don't get how they keep the streams from crossing, or how they just ignore that. Contracting a Honda engineer for 40hrs, but that engineer is normally employed by Honda the other 51 weeks.
Or the engine engineers filling a chassis role when it comes to fitment and install. It sounds pedantic, but it adds up.
