I always think it would obviously be cool for the experience, but if you only see the cars flying around the turn you're on and no access to the rest of the race, I'd think that would not seem all that fun after a bit.
Yes, there's a huge screen near turn 12 and on other parts of the track. It basically looks just like the regular TV broadcast, my only complaint was they didn't show the timing gaps on the broadcast. So we sat there with our stopwatches on our phones timing as Max & Lewis went by to see if Max was able to pull the undercut when Lewis pitted, or towards the end of the race trying to see how close Lewis was to DRS range. Also, high up in the turn 12 grandstang was a really good vantage of the track, I'd suggest those seats to anyone looking to go.

Thought I saw it was only a 5 place penalty considering it is his 6th this year.

The big screens show some live scenes but mostly give you position and gap.
This is why I got seats at the top row. The view. I can't see the start and finish, but I can see pretty much the entire race from turn 1 through turn 17 from that height.

If you guys see a sharp looking dude in a black Canon shirt with ref piping and Canon hat at COTA, that will be HB, livin' retro!

For a track near a city claiming to be all abt tech, service is garbage.
