Good way to stay in F1 without being in F1 too. Make every event. Can be a backup for half the field. Name stays in rotation for any open seat.
Worse plans out there. Look at how many leave to Indy or another far off series and become second tier during talks. De Vries may have a ride next year just because he was an arse to put in a seat when Albon went ill.
