I posted this quote from HAM on the 23rd of last month:

quote:

I'll just leave this right here...

quote:
When asked by a reporter whether he felt Mercedes might not be able to challenge for the title, he shut him down instantly, replying “why should I doubt that we didn’t manage to build a good car? We’ve won the constructors eight times in a row. My team doesn’t make mistakes.

The real question is will the church bells be ringing in Maranello tomorrow?

Checo is going to lose RBR’s patience this year, IMO. He lacks the raw pace at the “old” age of 32

DC "you must be disappointed that Mercedes seem to be off the pace"

Max with a huge grin "very...very"

Checo did fine. The Ferraris are fast. KMag and Bottas both Q3 which is outstanding.

Max will keep Red Bull at the front even if off the Ferrari pace a bit.

Yeah I think Ferrari is fastest right now. But red bull is right there. Checo needs to improve

If it turns out that Ferrari is consistently the fastest car this year, I think as a pair, the Ferrari drivers might be better than last year's Mercedes pair, in which case the pressure on Perez will be even higher this year to stay closer to Max.

Totally over reactionary take after 1 qualifying season.

1. Max runs away with title this year similar to Hamilton the last few years. Won’t be much of competition.

2. A real 3 way race for Constructor's with redbull just pulling it out at the end because of Max. Ferrari finishes 2nd. Merc a close 3rd after closing hard at the end.

3. Hamilton finishes 2nd but is far off the pace. Mostly because Sainz and Leclerc canabalize each other.

4. Haas finishes 5th behind alpha Touri. McLaren 7th.

Nice day for magnusson.

McLaren really disappointing. And Aston Martin is just arse.

Hoping to see Red Bull and Ferrari battle all season.

Props to Bottas. That guy can drive.

Wasnt able to watch quali but I did watch the telemetry for Q3
I was internally freaking out every time a number popped up
What a fricking grid we got here!!!

Merc needs to get their shite together so we can have that 3 way constructors fight

I hope KMag gets in the top 5. Did Haas make it to Q3 at all last year? It’s great seeing them competitive

Haas hadn't been in Q3 since 2019.

While I'm pulling for Haas, it is nice to see this again.

McLaren just take the past 3 months off? Incredibly disappointing. I’m sure (hopeful) they’ll right the ship by mid season but Danny might need to be kicked on down the curb to Williams after this season.

It’s Red Bull, so they could easily replace him with Gasly.

Saw some talk on twitter that Perez exceeded track limits. May see an adjustment in the lineup if that is the case.

That would be good for Ferrari as far as the constructors championship goes but could hurt them in the drivers if Leclerc and Sainz are both winning some races.

I don't see there being a clear number 2 that would be told to move over. Especially during the first half of the season.

Twitter doesn't like their images getting hijacked. Not everyone sees the images when they're posted on other sites. So I usually do a screencap and put it on imgur to make sure everyone can see it.

I imagine everyone at Haas must be excited to have replaced Mazepin with Magnussen. Dude just seemed likable in the first couple of seasons of DTS, and Mazepin is a prick.
