So it's like a "er" and not an "a".

Glad we aren't the only country with double standards for words.

Now I'll return to my regularly scheduled programming of not posting because I started watching F1 because of Netflix so I'm not smart enough to post.
I'm new too, but I'm just wondering how long you're gonna beat this horse. You have a post about this shite literally every time I check in here.

It's been literal months.

What about Mercedes? Will the new 'bits' they are bringing to Silverstone help them challenge the Red Bulls at the front? Probably the best and only chance this year Lewis has of keeping his record of winning at least one race every single season intact.

Silverstone is one of the most visually appealing races to watch on TV and the track is legendary, a true test. This is one race (like Spa) that I hope weather does not impact.

Our friends across the pond live for this event and it is usually one of the most well attended. The passion from racing fans is comparable to Monza.

Maybe. If they can't get it soon I would look late in the year once RBR has wrapped up the titles. The push won't be that big for RBR and Merc could get a couple cheap wins like other teams did during the Merc dynasty.

I’m not counting Ferrari out just yet. They clearly have performance and a great driver. Now they need reliability. Let’s not forget where LeClerc would be without the two engine failures and the epic pit stop frickup at Monaco.

Actually Max has had 2 engine failures himself too. Leclerc's only two wins came in those two races that Max did not finish. Ferrari really need to step up their game big time to catch up with Max/Red Bull. Leclerc qualifying on pole is not enough. They need to string a few excellent all-round full race weekends together.

#BritishGP: Mercedes will bring new front wings for Lewis Hamilton and George Russell, these are rumoured to be 4-5kg lighter than the previous ones.

#BritishGP: Andrew Shovlin says Mercedes has a package they’ve been working on for Silverstone. They’re bringing a “bigger and more visible package.” Different front wings, rear wings and floor. This could be what equates to 4-5kgs lighter and maybe not just one component.

Im not sure Max wins either of the races he retired from though, also not sure he wins Baku without Leclerc faltering.

Ferrari has the car, but whereas RBR seems to have solved their problem Ferrari is in trouble the rest of the season.

These actual race tracks may flip everything on their heads from the first part of the season being mostly street courses.

Anyone in this thread been to Silverstone for an F1 race? It always seems like a massive party. I'd like to camp with the proletariat and get shitty on cheap lager. It's on my list, but I have a very long list. Spa, Suzuka, Monza, Silverstone, Brazil, etc.

Someone described the 6am scene on Sunday morning and said that warm biscuits are passed through the crowd since it is so dense and people have to wait that long.

I know they aren't southern biscuits, but warm biscuits.....mmmmmmmm

The British biscuits are nothing like our southern biscuits and gravy. They typically look like Bischoff cookies and the Brits love to have them with their tea.

Forgot the actual word, but they 'translated' to biscuit and sausage. Will have to go back and listen again to hear how it was described.

Max dropping out made no difference as Chuck had those races in hand anyway.

Ferrari has the speed but the powertrains are grenades at the moment. And it's all Ferrari powered cars having issues with them.
