Yeah that seems to be what happened from what I read too.

Just set a maximum bounce figure and black flag anyone exceeding it... you know for for safety right? They can raise the car to eliminate it. Its not everyone else's problem that merc came with an unsuitable design just like it wasn't everyone else's problem that the merc PU destroyed the field for almost 10 years.

I do like the green of the Aston Martin.

Edit: on what lap do the Haas or Alonzo cause a crash?

Why do they continue to throw this guy out to do interviews. It is like he is the plague to everyone.

What's hilarious is that all the announcers are saying this without explicitly saying "Fernando is going to hold everyone up and Max is going to check out."

You mean the guy that’s been doing this forever and is respected by everyone?

A bucket list item for me is to be on the grid and hijack Brundle to be interviewed as a normal dude who is excited to be on the grid.

Question that I wasn't sure about. I know cars usually can't be changed after they go into Parc ferme, does that change on a race like this where it was wet for qualifying but dry for the race or vice versa?

Essentially would Leclerc punt on the qualifying setup and go straight dry setup for race conditions.

the setup has to remain. If it was like last year with the Q2 starting tire rule, they would have been able to change from wet to medium

I hate one-stop races. And they brought the softest set of tires. And the total pit lane length is good. I guess the softs don't provide enough time advantage, or they wear too fast.

Didn't take long for Sainz to catch Alonso

but guess the TV producers didn't want us to see it anyway

Ham had a fricked up wing like that for half a race last year and they never stopped him.
