I think they already declined. I remember hearing that Stroll and Aston were interested. I also heard that they were going into Red Bull engines.

The Bahrain sovereign wealth fund is McLaren’s biggest shareholder. IIRC it’s around 60% of the shares or so.
Good chance they would sell. The car side loses money. So to get out from under that side of the company, the Bahrainis could be motivated to give up the racing side for the right price.
