Mark Hughes answers your questions
Johnathan asked: Do the kerbs and bumps seem to affect the new cars more than last year? I’ve seen some sim racing footage which shows bumps throwing the cars off.
Mark Hughes says: Yes, definitely Jonathan. Drivers are giving the kerbs much more respect than before and working out the correct angle to take them is going to be a new part of the art.
Toto "warns" Andretti the cost a new competitive F1 team is $1 billion.

I've wondered how those sausage kerbs will play with the underside of the cars.
Kerbs being really bad along with loss of sightline may loosen up a lot of lines.
Going to knock someone out going offline.

Your inspector has arrived:
Some comparison butt shots, I wanna see some upskirt video! RBR has a distinctively different beam wing and Ferrari has their distinctive twin pillar wing support system.
The FloVis actually looks kinda cool on the Williams.
Closeup of the Merc mirrors. Notice how they are using the sidepod winglet as part of the "mirror support".
Another shot of the Kiel probe rake on the Macca. Someone called them pitot tubes earlier which is kinda sorta correct but Kiel probes have a shroud that makes them more accurate without significant calibration since they are far less sensitive to flow angle.

The nose seems high on these new cars

Waiting to see some high speed shots to see how close they get.
One car was low enough to throw sparks today, maybe Mclaren. Surprised a few people seeing them.

BREAKING
F1 has started to sell tickets for a Turkish GP this year, and no more tickets available for Russian GP.
Is this a replacement?

Was thinking about the GP in Sochi earlier today and any impact geopolitics might have on Haas this year.
If they slot the Turkish GP in between Italy and Singapore we will likely have our answer. Technically they are NOT selling tickets as the twit would have one think.

Or maybe they don't have a wind tunnel and this is the cheap way? I dunno.

What did Ham say in 2020, Cash is King…. If they gave a shite about human rights/geo politics they wouldn’t have went to Saudi last year or ever go back to China.

I agree with that 100% BUT a hot war in Europe's backyard rings a louder bell than human rights abuses thousands of miles away.

Williams has always been the king of FloVis. They buy it by the tanker car load.

When asked by a reporter whether he felt Mercedes might not be able to challenge for the title, he shut him down instantly, replying “why should I doubt that we didn’t manage to build a good car? We’ve won the constructors eight times in a row. My team doesn’t make mistakes.”

Not gonna lie, that exchange in the press conference was some Burrow level type shite.
Something towards "we have won the constructor 8 times in a row, why would I question if they could build me a winning car"

I know there's a whole lot of politics and sandbagging going on but having McLaren and Ferrari leading the packs right now has me very excited
