Surprised to see Chet Holmgren as one of the Top 4 best college athletes.

Better than some of the recent winners.

Why is this bad? Regardless of what you think of this whole war the fact that a rich athlete with a million ways to get out of dodge staying in the city to help fight is pretty awesome

There must have been a few slap fights breaking out to vote between Klitschko and awarding it to Griner.

The ESPYs used to be fun. I always enjoyed the beginning of the show when they'd do the montage of all the stuff that happened in sports that year. It was always cool.

I haven't watched in years. It's so bad now.

Charles Woodson’s Heisman trophy comment was my favorite.

Bet me it won’t. It’ll go to that whiney tennis player or Juwanna man for being locked up in Russia. Vitali doesn’t hate the U.S. enough to get that kind of award.

Not opening the article but let me guess, Brittany Griner is going to receive some sort of honorary award.

Please tell me you don't think she should be in jail. It is an absolute joke that she is still in jail. ESPN does need to make a bigger deal out of it. Jalen and Jacoby is the only show I've seen mention it and that's just like their send off to each episode. I don't care about Griner or the WNBA, I actually can't stand the WNBA, but she is getting royally screwed.

100% agree, but I also know there’s nothing anyone but Russia can do about it. The US isn’t going to pick a fight with a country already at war over one person who may or may not have committed a crime. That situation just has to play out, unfortunately.

Well, it’s already been announced as awarded to him. So, you’re wrong.

Don’t worry, when the next story hits to trigger your outrage you can easily forget about this and only focus on the stories and events that fit your snowflake narrative.

Are you serious? She has been in a Russian prison for over four months for having a VAPE PEN with cbd/thc oil in it. The US government agrees that she's being screwed over. It's a shite show. So you're telling me that if you sat in prison in Russia for 4 months because of a vape pen you think you'd be ok with it? That you weren't getting screwed over? Gtfo.
