Another halftime of a bowl game has turned into a CFP preview. Literally every single bowl game turns into this. They talk about the actual game they’re covering for 2 minutes then spend the remainder of the time on the CFP.
And they wonder why people make a case for any non Cfp bowl being meaningless. I mean I get it, you run out of Alamo bowl talk. There’s tons of other bowl games to discuss though.

It probably shouldn’t bother me as much as it does, but the celebrations when you’re down 20 points with a quarter left frustrate me way too much

I think there is only one other place Bob loves as much as OU and that is Iowa. He's a Hawkeye through and through and if for some reason that came open and he had the itch I think he'd consider it.

A halfway decent broadcaster should never run out of things to talk about concerning the two teams involved. There are 80-100 players on each team and the Alamo Bowl is nearly 30 years old. If a broadcaster can't use that much material to fill an entire game they did really lazy prep.
