Finally got to finish watching after not seeing the last few stages. .. The ITT lived up to the comments here and elsewhere.. jesusss...
Wish I could have participated in real time, but availability and real life issues prevented it.

I’m Going through late night Tour withdrawal already.

UCI ‘ships start Thursday.. shall we carry on brethren?

Viewership was way up in the US. Most watched Tour since Lance's last Tour in 2010. Coupled with the boom in cycling in the US driven by COVID, it's been a good summer for cycling and the bike industry.

Hasn't the UCI been going on for a bit? They are in Berlin correct? I was watching them on Olympic Channel. I wished they would show more Velodrome racing though. There is nothing like pure speed..

Any competition that is just pure speed is fascinating to me

Track
Swimming
Speed Skating (long course)
Velodrome

Looked like a nasty speed wobble to me. I have only experienced it once at about 48 mph going straight on a descent, I was just able to gather it up but needed to change my bibs afterward.

And it's a lot tougher to regain control in TT position.

I've had it happen a couple times before going downhill but never bad enough to scare me thank jehovah. The best thing to do is clamp down on the top tube with your knees if possible.

I always used a Pantani descending position but luckily I wasn't in it that day. It took me over a year before I could bring myself to slide off the back of the saddle again after my wobble. The Pantani is comfortable for me because I have spent so much time descending on hardtail mountain bikes but I still can't do the top tube with my butt against the post.

I can't do a full superman like Michael Guerra though.

But then he can do shite like this:
