He misread the shite out of that. You know he’s not gonna be sharp enough to avoid bogeys for 72 holes—he needs to take advantage of almost all of his birdie putts inside 12 feet. Some of these young bucks can bomb it and score on any course. Tiger’s gotta be sharp with his irons and knock down almost all of his makeable putts to keep up. There’s just too many good young guys now for not at least a handful of em to go low today. He needs to finish today within a few shots of the leader to have a chance.

That was a 20 footer but overall I agree he’ll need to take advantage of opportunities.

2 under or better would be a good score today imo.

I expect 8-10 under or so to win this week.

I’m not, though I’m certainly not above it. I was talking about his putt on 2. I didn’t see how far it was, but the ground level angle I saw may have made it look closer than it was, and it looked like he misread the break by a good bit.

Are y’all watching the regular coverage of the feature group? I had trouble with the feature group at first, but I finally got it. Maybe the regular coverage is showing different angles and maybe not exactly in real time.

Tiger needs to make this at 3, though.
