On PGA radio this morning Gary McCord said that CBS wants Phil in the booth since he has little desire to play on the senior tour. Phil would play 8-10 PGA Tour events and then be on 18 with Nantz. I can feel the tension between Phil and Faldo from my couch.

Phil is good here. I liked how he followed up the comment about no sand with "it's not a bad thing. They are hazards or penalty areas."

Who was it recently taking about that on a telecast? Was it Nicklaus? He was essentially saying when players are yelling for it to “get in the bunker” then the bunkers are defeating their own purpose.

I had to step away for a bit and missed some of the banter, but early on, Phil said something to Faldo and was actually trying to compliment him. Faldo didn’t take it that way said “you can rip on me when you’ve won 7 majors.” I was like “D’oh! It’s on!!”
