Kevin Pillar is close to a Red Sox deal. Boston needed righty hitting OF. Plus Pillar allows them to maintain excellent OF defense following loss of superstar Mookie.

The Reds brought back Dietrich on a minor league deal w/an invite to spring training. I really hope they bring him up for our first series against the Pirates

I feel like the 3 batter thing is a major overstep. I don’t mind the move towards a game without 10 pitching changes, but not sure this is what was needed. Roles like specialty relief pitchers who only face lefties are pretty much gone.

Might be an unpopular opinion, but if you are only good enough to get one type of hitter out, you shouldn't be in the big leagues.

This will force those types of pitchers to get better. Find a way to get right-handed hitters out too and make yourself some more money.

Instead of 3 batter rule wouldn't mind seeing the batter start with the new pitcher 2-0. Would give an advantage to the batter and late in games could make a difference

Really like this deal, wish the Yankees would have gone after Walker

Yeah I know, I read that but a lot of people coming off injury and much lower. Gonna take some time to get strength. He is still a young guy and has a track record. TJ then another shoulder injury, which would be concerning.

Yes. He was very good last year until he got injured. When he came back from injury he got hit like a pinata.

Just read the Correa interview. How the Astros continue to dig themselves a bigger hole is nothing short of remarkable

It’s in the eye of the beholder.

He came out and admitted it...came out and said they were wrong, yet here you are...along with the media wanting more and more. There’s nothing left to say.

He also told Bellinger to get fricked, as he should have.

You’re as bad as xiv.
