They're still not saying what his injuries are.

He may have a long road ahead.

He and his old lady separated (or announced it) earlier this week, too. Rough week.

Yeah, and your wife doesn't call me Jody.

Same thing in the end.

There’s one guy on reddit in the Ryan Newman megathread claiming he has sources that he has no broken bones or spinal injuries, but has a brain bleed and is heavily sedated.

Had a high school friend get into an ATV accident. He survived but there was nothing the doctors can do from all the brain swelling.

Again, though, the theory that he has suffered a brain injury is just an internet rumor. No one has officially said he suffered a brain injury.

Dale Jr using everything in the past tense.
Hopefully just means Newman gonna hang it up after this or bc it rings too close to Junior’s memories. That was an odd segment and phoner, though probably recorded earlier

As usual ppl on the internet continue to prove how stupid they are There is a long list of reasons they can’t do this with the most obvious being that just bc he’s conscious going into the ambulance that doesn’t mean he wasn’t “killed”. He could’ve died anywhere from 3 minutes to hours later. The other obvious issue is it isn’t up to NASCAR, it’s up to Newman and his family

The lack of information is what led essentially to 16-18 hours of pure internet speculation before announcement that he is awake.

People are smart enough to realize that just because someone is conscious after a terrible wreck doesn’t mean they will survive.

It hurts nobody to say, “Ryan sustained injuries, was conscious when removed from the vehicle, but is in critical condition as he was taken to the hospital.”

Completely changed his personality.

Knew a young man that fell head first off a maintenance stand. To this day I don't know how he survived and as you said, his personality was changed from that point on.

Ryan Newman picture with girls in hospital

This is great news. He may not get back on the track again but he may be able to live a good life from here.

I just saw that picture online, that is nothing short of miraculous given the wreck and the scene following it.
