Luckily there is no farm system left for him to pillage.
I've seen first hand what pillaging a great farm system looks like. Frank Wren, a Dombroski protégé, did it to the Braves system as GM. That's why Schuerholz fired his ass. Thankfully he was let go before he dealt Acuna and Albies, whom he both drafted.

If the Rays trade Snell and the Yankees do not resign DJ and the Astros do not properly replace Springer, then I think the Chi Sox are the team to beat in AL.

Their MLB club is starting to look pretty good. They just need to improve their player development and hire their manager a driver and they'll be set.

on 12/11/20 at 12:55 pm to ProjectP2294They currently have a higher ranked farm system than both the Astros and Yankees. They have holes at RF and DH. Every other position will be a 100< OPS+ guy.
I think the only thing currently holding them back is that they have not 'been there' (deep postseason run) yet like those other teams.

The rotation outside Giolito is a massive question mark for me
And Lance Lynn is not a legit top of the rotation guy
