The Cubs are going on the road now so there’s that.

Huge series in Cincinnati starting tonight. Probably the biggest home series at GABP since 2013, which is incredibly sad. Considering how 2019 has gone, the two teams will split and the Reds will make up no ground. There are some damn good pitching match-ups too.

Hamels vs. Wood on Thursday
Darvish vs. Bauer on Friday
Hendricks vs. Gray on Saturday
Leseter vs. Castillo on Sunday

That's like a top-5 GOAT gif. The blank stare he gives before the frick! is the best. And John Lackey has the most punchable face in MLB

Don't worry, the NL Central wheel of suck will probably spin our way again next week.

Castellanos is a beast when he's hitting outside Detroit

I member when cardinal fans grouped the cubs in with them as teams who didn’t get better at the deadline

I came to bump this thread but I guess OP decided to edit the original post. Typical Cardinals fan.

Don't mind me, I'm just here for the lulz

Yes, I know they're on the road but I have a good feeling about this trip.

Castellanos has been all money since joining the Cubs.

Lucroy was good last night. He might have a chip on his shoulder after being let go by Anaheim

If you would have told me the Reds would have scored 5 off of Hamels then I would have taken that all day. Unfortunately Alex Wood was getting rocked. I knew the Reds were throwing in the towel when David Hernandez was trotted out there. That dude has been awful this season.

Nah bud

Castellanos addition was widely recognized by the national publications. In the same breath as the cards not doing anything to get better

Yes, the 1.1 WAR player in Detroit.

Widely recognized as meh, sure. About it though.

Oh man, must be a tough one for you to stomach

Your “best” hitter has a 1.9 WAR
Castellanos is sitting at 1.8

Coulda upgraded 3 positions for you guys if you made the move for Casty, wouldn’t have costed anything either
