I think he'll settle at a cool .270-.280 BA, with about 35-40 HR, and of course more strikeouts. Around .750 OPS.

considering he already "only" hit 284 last year and had an OPS of over 1000, i think im going to take the over on his OPS of 750 if he hits between 270 and 280

Joey Gallo will be an all-star and will hit .240 w/ 45+ bombs.

ETA: Houston will win the AL West, but it will be by less than five games.

frick that I’ll double down for you:

The mlb record for k’s in a year is 223, judge had 208 last year

Judge will set the single season mlb record (going back to 1870something) for strikeouts by a hitter in a single season

Actually you don’t need to go back that far. Mark Reynolds did it a few years ago.

Jason Heyward will slash 275/375/475

As pedestrian as that seems, it may be the boldest prediction in this thread lol

He does lead mlb in “oh shite Heyward is up and we’re sitting on the first base line”. Never seen anybody hit FOUL piss rockets like him.
Pitch 1: lined foul (116 exit velo)
Pitch 2: lines foul (119 exit velo)
Pitch 3: dribbler to 2nd (76 exit velo)
If they ever make an Arena Baseball League, dude will be a star

Nationals go to World Series.

Astros won’t make it past the divisional series and will be plagued by pitching injuries and woes.

Cleveland gets a rematch with the Yanks, this time in the ALCS, and wins the final two games to take a 4-3 series win.

Yeah, last year the AL average OPS was .752. I don’t see him falling from 1.049 to .750. I think .850 to .950(I know, big range) which would put him on par with guys like Seagar, Posey, Smoak, Rizzo, Bryant, Rendon & Bellinger. Idk if he’ll be up there again with the Votto, Goldschmidt, Freeman, Stanton & Trout’s again, but if he maintains his elite BB%, it’s not out of the question.
